I'm happy to be able to offer you a Vianney Halter Classic. These watches rarely come up for sale in the secondary market, as the owners usually treasure them for ever. Given that there are no more new VH Classics available, as the series total of 250 is sold out, acquiring a new VH watch means buying a Trio at his current entry level price of $125,000! So this opportunity to buy one of Vianney's creations is rather interesting. I have recently returned from a trip, where I visited his atelier in Ste. Croix, and the details with which he and his colleagues go to creating the precious few timepieces is compelling. Just the work on the dial, not to mention the case work. "Habillage" is taken to the extreme at Vianney's place.

This watch was owned by a friend of mine, a long time collector of fine watches, who unlike many, actually wears one or two fine watches all the time, which means there is some wear on this watch. No disasters, but wear consistent with almost daily enjoyment, swirlies abound and a minor ding on the bezel at 5.30. Included are the box and papers, although no outside cardboard box exists anymore. Originally acquired in December 07.
