The following morning, after a wonderful strong coffee and croissant in the town square, Stephen and I dashed up to his current workshop, where I got to see the bench where his amazing pieces are crafted.

On his desk are a couple of partially completed Minute Repeater movements, with several parts kits waiting, in the drawers, to be assembled. These are some amazing movements and extra-ordinarily complicated.

This is what arrives at Stephen's workshop for him to work his magic on...4 boxes containing all the parts. This is an Automaton Minute Repeater movment.

We spent only 20mins here before I was dropped off at the train station in Neuchatel to head over to Yverdon-Les-Bains.
