This time the Serpent Calendar is only being made in two metals, either 18k RG or stainless steel. As previously offered it is available in two cases sizes, 42mm & 38mm, but now features a new caliber, the Eros 1. An automatic caliber with twin main spring barrels, it has a 5 day power reserve when fully wound. Differing slightly is the profile, a 2mm slimmer case and stepped bezel make for an arguably more elegant overall watch. Having said that, I personally prefer the original 38mm case, with it's drum style case, but each to his own as the saying goes.
Up first is the lovely 18k RG version:

Another change Peter has made is the choice of a shorter Serpent date hand, that now points to the date ring inside the classic roman numerals rather than the previous iteration that had the date on the outside. A slightly cream colored lacquered 2 layered dial is used and the stunning blued steel Foundation style hands.

Here is the back revealing the blued signature Speake-Marin "Topping tool" rotor of the Eros 1 caliber.

Peter's blued steel Foundation style hands are sublime...
