It's really late here 12.30am and I'm just getting to write the first of many reports from the great watch & jewelry show in Basel, Switzerland.

A few pictures, unedited in Photo Shop other than resizing, so bear with me.

Probably my highlight of the day was meeting one of the greatest living watchmakers, Daniel Roth, who is now creating 1 or 2 watches a year from scratch, in his atelier. He showed me the 2 minute Tourbillon, quite fantastic.

Peter has a smaller cased new movement model of the Marin 1, at 38.6mm. The thin bezel that I so love from the original Piccadilly series!

Met with Marco, Thomas, Vianney, Aaron, Stepan & the Pita's all briefly, more to come...

Maitre du Temps Chapter 2 is again lovely, with a couple of new dial variants, that I think enhance the piece further!

Max & his friends, are doing extra-ordinary things again...The Sapphire cased HM2 is quite amazing to behold in real life!
